Every day is a day of thanksgiving and another opportunity to bring relief to people who need a helping hand up and forward.  Join us in sharing with "Food For The Poor, Inc."  When we do we are saving lives, transforming communities, and renewing hope.  Select the blue button below and choose how you want to make a difference.  This is how we give thanks and share God's love with people in need everywhere!!!  Matthew 25:40 reminds us to help show God's love "As often as we help one of the least of these  (all people with the greatest needs) we do it unto the Lord our God."

Love makes all things work together for our good and God's glory.  We love because God first loved us.  We love because God is love.  Without love we are nothing and can do nothing.  With love (God), all things are possible. We are made in the image of love.  If we fail to remember who we are, we miss great opportunities to be what we really are.  So what divides us becomes our failure to remember who we are.  When we cease to love one another, we move away from the source of our being and are robbed of the divine joy that we receive from one another which comes only to us from God because apart from God we can do nothing.  This is satan's domain.  Satan is real.  Satan knows this is true and uses it to steal, kill and destroy our lives.  Satan uses the pride of life to try to deceive us.  Satan causes divisions in the Body of Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ gives to whosoever will believe and receive Him the grand and glorious blessed privilege to be a part of God's family through grace by faith for the redemption of our souls and healing for our bodies.  That's love!  We are bought with the price of Jesus Christ's life -- He laid His life down to save us.  We must do likewise for one another to live life full and free from the traps of Satan's tactics to deceive us into placing our own interest before doing what God wills for us to do.  In other words, instead of loving one another as God loves us, Satan tries to make us focus on becoming territorial.  When Satan succeeds in changing the focus from love to territory the reverse of love happens.  Fighting from within and without manifest.  Life becomes filled with hate instead of love.  If we fail to ask ourselves  "whose territory is it?" and answer truthfully "it all belongs to God to be used for God's purposes."  We will fall for Satan's trap and fail to love.  Love is patient, kind, forgiving, respectful, honoring, faithful, not jealous, not prideful, not arrogant, not boastful, not rude, rejoices in truth, bears all things, believes all things (from God), hopes all things, endures all things, love never ends.  This is how we operate in love.   Receiving and bestowing the gift of love makes us free.  Satan wants to steal our gift (abundant life on earth and citizenship of heaven where believers will receive our eternal home and rewards) and to keep us in bondage to sin (claiming territory that belongs to God as ours rather than seeing ourselves as God's stewards entrusted with over site privileges only on earth).  The truth is we are free in Jesus Christ but sometimes forget who we are in Him.  We must remember to ask our selves daily "who am I and who am I acting like?"  God calls us to a life of love and freedom and He bestowes these to us as we choose to follow the example of His Son, Jesus Christ.  His example is to love God and to love one another as He has loved us. We must lay down our lives for one another daily to demonstrate the love of Christ.  We must put others interest before our own.   Doing so will allow the flow of God's love to reach all people.  Territory--whose?  It's God's.
